With these words, Professor Khalifa bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership, praising its vigilant and watchful role in dismantling a security cell engaged in espionage activities in favor of a foreign state.

He emphasized that treason against the homeland is one of the most serious crimes, and that the law shows no tolerance toward it, as it constitutes betrayal of both religion and the nation. He also pointed out that the legal position in this regard has been firm and decisive, imposing strict and deterrent penalties on those convicted of treason, which may reach life imprisonment or the death penalty.
